These accounts were written and translated by HIROSHIMA SPEAKS OUT based on two in-person interviews conducted in 2017. The survivors interviewed were pupils at Fukuromachi National School (now, Hiroshima Municipal Fukuromachi Elementary School) at the time of the A-bombing on August 6, 1945.
