Explanation
This tower is 4 meters high and has five sides, 4 meters each, which symbolize the wish for five continents to be “one world without war,” which was designed by Masami Kawamura.
It was erected by the Hiroshima Prefectural Committee for the Erection of a Tower to Commemorate Hiroshima' s Declaration of Itself as a World Federalist City and by Hiroshima City on October 30, 1974.
