These boys became the pillars for peace.

Explanation

Prefectural Technical School Monument

The Municipal Technical School was annexed to this school at that time.
A total of 267 were killed. The monument was erected in May, 1962.
The Tanka poem on the monument reads:

On a rainy day,
On a windy night,
Alas, souls!
Keep your eyes
On our school
In tranquility.

Location : Hiroshima Technical High School, Deshio, Minami-ku
