38. Chugoku Region Headquarters Monument
When one man hates one hundred,

Explanation
These monuments are in the Army Cemetery on Hijiyama Mountain.
Every monument has an officer' s or a soldier' s name and his army rank engraved on it. Lieutenant Generals, Major Generals, Captains and First Lieutenants as well as nursing attendants, government boat sailors and casual laborers can be found.
