24. Takasu and Kogo-kita Townspeople Monument
Suddenly,
Trees in the gardens all collapsed.
Windows burst.
People came running about and stayed here.
The injured took refuge.
Their last place was filled with green.
Explanation
It is recorded that of the residents in Kogo and Takasu, 20 residents were killed, 181 were missing, and that among the temporary residents 29 were killed and 135 were missing.
This monument was built in December, 1959.
