Ashita Kira Kira, Shining Hope for Tomorrow

My dentist gave me pain-free treatment.
The dentist and his children
All are gone now.
Now I have a toothache.
Those who did not go to war
Died as well.

This monument was erected by the Hiroshima City Dentists Association on August 6, 1967 to remember 51 dentists and their staff members.
